Tim was admitted last night thru the ER. The pain following the procedure was unbearable. Thankfully there are no ruptures, only pain. They did find yesterday that he has diverticulosis and had several polyps removed. He will probably have to stay another night.I am headed back out there now.

Hear I am again, Please pray/ I have not been well for a few days now/ and yesterday morning my dad took mom back to the hospital/ we just heard that a possible heart attack but we dont really know anything yet/the Drs are still doing tests and we cant even go to the hospital till after 2pm
Please lift us all up in prayer

Please pray for my daughter Rebecca who has been fighting a sinus and ear infection and now has flu on top of it. She went to the doctor yesterday and got a stronger antibiotic for the infection and is out of classes for a couple of days per doctor's orders. She is worried about missing classes and assignments. I would appreciate prayers for her recovery and for catching up in her classes.

I want to thank each and every one of you for your prayers, I have truely been blessed by a group I know I can come to and cry out to in prayer.
We brought mom home on Sat. well my dad did, I was ill more emotionally then anything I think, mom has still a long way to come in her journey to recovery and will continue as an out patient for rehab.
I will continue to be there as needed and possibly butting in, in a nice way of course to help.
Continued prayer are much appreciated for her recover and for my dads strength and health, as well as my own, I am in a lot of pain and physically exhausted.

I've flitted in and out of LW this past week - wanting to put a prayer request in here but finding that the words will not come to me.....for the first time I have found it difficult to settle here and stay awhile in your company.

A week ago today a work colleague (28 year old male - Christian) committed suicide. Jonny was employed in the Christian outreach side of the company, involving young people in outreach and discipleship programs, both at home here and sending summer teams throughout the world.
Pray for these young folks seeking understanding and answers to their whats and whys in these tragic circumstances, for Jonny's colleagues coming to terms with the loss of an apparently happy upbeat young man, and of course for Jonny's parents who have lost their only son.
Thank you friends for the facility to come here and be assured of your support.

Hello my sisters and brothers

I have a very serious and urgent prayer request. Over the past few weeks I have slowly become more and more unable to lift my arms/head, shoulders etc, along with a full blown flare in my legs/back so that I can only walk with a walker. However I can't walk with a walker when my hands/arms/shoulders are this way. More importantly, my only contact to all of you and to the world is through the internet. It is taking me every last bit of stamina to even write this but I need help and I know you girls are the ones that can help me.

Please pray that this flare settles down without becoming permanent, as I have watched it getting worse and worse for months now without any remission. Pray that I might have the fortitude to still load Christian files on my ipod so that I can at least keep withinn the body of Christ and feel his Holy Spirit. Also, please pray that He will help me to find a way to be comfortably online again. I believe that I will need someone to assist me in programming my voice recognition software; an angel sent from Heaven is my hope for this prayer.

I am accepting that the Lord is putting me"on the shelf" for awhile, but even the little things I could do, such as giving encouragement to strangers and friends alike online seems to be shut down for awhile. I am most upset that I cannot even read my devotionals or my bible, or chat online with Christian sisters and brothers like you. I have no physical church to attend, nor fellow congretionalists that I know, so I am feeling especially cut off.

Ladies, I have watched our Lord take one thing away at a time over the last few years, and it took me waaaayyyy to long to figure out that he no longer wanted my work to be outside of my home. I kept changing jobs, letting go of responsibility down until I could no longer even attend work 1 day a week. I used to say that I felt like a blow up clown: God would push me back to lie down, and I'd pop right back up again with a silly smile on my face. I suppose that this could be part of his plan, but I feel more like it might be an attack from the evil one on our family. We are growing quickly within the Lord and have given up everything, including work, to wait on the Lord. (My hubby has had to be off work to look after me; it looks like our 'past' has caught up to us and we are once again in the writing/researching arena. We both feel that He is doing a HUGE turn in our lives so that we can work for Him in the way He wants, now that we have woken up from our slumber.

I miss and love you all...i hope to drop by at least once a week if i can, until my flare goes down or I get the software working. My hubby has helped me with the typing this time.

I love you all and miss talking to you!

Hi everyone
Sorry I did not get back and let you know about mom, it has been a real strecth the last few days, mom surgery went fine and she is on the way to healing in that regard. however, the day after surgery, something was just not right, about mid afternoon the nurses came to the conclusion that there was an overdose of morphine mediacal staff falt, with that we went to delieous, and then Monday night had a fall, please please pray, I am so tired and oh my in so much pain, not handleing life well at all at the moment, trying to be there and strong for my dad. Will leave it there for now, and as soon as I can get back will let you know whats going on, we all covet your prayers very much and oh my it is nice knowing that family is out there praying. Bless you all.

Thank you for the prayers for my brother. He is doing better. No heart blockages but they changes many of his medications around in hopes to make him feel better, God is good.

Please keep my brother in your prayers. He is five years older than I am and is also in a wheelchair with Muscular Dystrophy. He has a history of heart problems and has an anomaly with his coronary artieries. He is actually missing one. Anyway he is going tomorrow for a check because they think he is having more heart problems. We are not sure what will be needed. His name is Richard. Thanks so much. Miriam

Kimberly please know you are in my prayers.

asking for you all to remember us tomorrow as mom goes for surgery yet again, we are all so tired and exhauseted we need patience and a peace that only God can give.
