Hi Cheryl - just popping in to see how things are with you. I do hope you've been finding your way around here.
I'm hoping you have got some respite or relief from your depression.... I see from your profile info that you have had such a lot to deal with. I have fibromyalgia and I've often voiced that the physical pain I accept and in many ways have become accustomed to at certain degrees..... I find fatigue a tougher battle and it brings out the 'quitter' in me. I came off my prescribed drugs over a year ago as I felt they did not make enough of an improvement to justify taking them - and I definitely find my depression has 'cleared' and my down days have become fewer and fewer.

I think it comes down to seeking some way that suits me individually and gives me a better and more manageable quality of life.
I do hope you find what works for you.

Love and blessings to you Cheryl - hope to see you around. Linda x

Hey Cheryl!
I so enjoyed meeting you last week in chat and hope to get to know you better over time. I feel like you and I have some things in common (being the mom of two grown son's, being grandmas, Fibromyalgia, the Lord, and even divorce). My heart indeed resonated with much of what you shared and felt the Lord urging me to seek further relationship with you. I am sorry it has taken me so long to make contact again.

I hope we didn't scare you away with the talk about Diet Coke and aspartame. ~giggle~ We really were not intending to leap on you all at once! I do however, want to encourage you to check out JanLyn Lewis's group OUR BODY HIS TEMPLE. She, as well the other members of that group, do a great job providing information on ways to help overcome some of pain and illness through holistic measures - inexpensively - and often simply by eliminating something from your diet. Several in the group have "detoxed" off diet Coke and other things they determined that for themselves just wasn't healthy. It is a NO PRESSURE group though. You don't have to fear everyone taking your "body care inventory" =) and then telling you what to do or not to do LOL. You will find some great posts with helpful information, though, so check it out to see if this group is something you thing will help you in your walk towards WHOLENESS ~ spirit, soul, and body!

I am expecting to get to spend some time with my new little grand daughter, Isabella, this weekend. She is a sweety - such a silly, happy girl! Then next weekend my grand son, Trevor, will be here for the weekend. We is sunshine in my life for sure!! So, I have a couple of weekends to play "Mena" (the name Trevor gave me when he first began to call my name :)

I'm gonna scoot! Hope you are doing well. Love you, and look forward to hearing from you really soon!

Blessings,
Kimberly

I was so good to chat with you yesterday and get to know you. I think you will find this a great place to hang out especially on the not so good days. It can be a real pick me up. Labor Days are not good days for me. It is kind of an anniversary reminder of my Muscular Dystrophy. You helped to brighten my mood and day. Hope to see you again in chat sometime soon.

Hi Cheryl - greetings and warmest welcomes to you on your arrival at Living Whole. I trust you will feel at home amongst us and be encouraged - everyone here is coping with similar issues and this is just a wonderful place to pop into and find encouragement and to share our struggles with.
I look forward to getting to know you and hopefully get to chat sometime - I am in UK which does not make linking up easy as most here are USA or Canada. - Keep in touch.... blessings to you Cheryl. Linda x

Thank you so much to everyone for the warm welcome...I'm looking forward to spending time here. My grandson has been in town for a couple of days, but as I recover from his visit (it takes a toll on me but is worth every second :), I'll be learning my way around!

Welcome Cheryl!!
So glad you were lead to us! God is good about directing our paths if we remain open to his guiding. I am glad to welcome another Tennessean to our group! Although my body resides in Ohio (almost 3 yrs now) I will always be a TN girl!
I hope you get a chance to look around, make yourself at home. We have some awesome groups and LOTS of tremendous writters in here, so you should not find yourself without something to keep you busy in here!
On the main page, besides upcoming events, current events, etc; you will also find a list of our scheduled chat times. I hope you are able to join us in there soon, as we usually have a wonderful time of fellowship. I will warn you tho, we are a bunch of folks with brain fog and good senses of humor so we can get mighty goofy at times!
Once again I am glad you found us and look forward to getting to know you!
In Christ,
Val

Hi Cheryl!

I'm glad you found our web site though sorry for the reason. This is a great group of people who understand the difficulties of dealing with chronic pain. I hope you have some time to explore and read some discussions and blog posts. Feel free to share your thoughts as well. We would love to hear from you.

If you click on the GROUPS tab at the top of the page you will find the group PRAYING HANDS. You are welcome to post a prayer request whenever you need prayer. We have several members who check in and pray regularly for the prayer requests.
Blessings,
Patti
