John 15:4-5 “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart [...]
1 Corinthians 1 Paul refers to Jesus Christ nine times in the first nine verses. We are correctly focused when we can say from the depths of our being, “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21, ESV), and that our determined purpose in life is “that I may [...]

This is my birth sister! OMG praise the LORD! Sista you will love this group, this is the best group I have joined, these people shower you with love, WELCOME,WELCOME,WELCOME!!!!!!!!!
Hello Corrine,
I'm just stopping in here a few minutes and am encouraged to see another new member. Thanks so much for joining in and I do hope you will come around as often as you are able and enjoy it. It's a really great group here with loads of positive encouragement to see one another through the difficult times. I'm also 46 and have fibromyalgia amongst a few other ditties. I couldn't help but read Val's note to you and see that she has a daughter Corrine as well. We do also, with the spelling Corynn which drives people nuts as they have a difficult time spelling it. Any way it is spelt, it is pretty I think.
Looking forward to getting to know you better.
In Friendship,
Jan Lyn
A warm welcome to you! I'm glad you joined us here. I hope you feel right at home with us. This is a very understanding group of people that encourage one another and support each other through the ups and downs of dealing with chronic illness and pain. It really helps sometimes to know you're not alone. Feel free to look around and add your comments. We would love to hear from you and look forward to getting to know you better.
Blessings,
Patti

I too have fibromyalgia (as have a lot of the dear ones here) - I work 32 hours per week so I know just how difficult that can be sometimes.
I do hope to see you around Corrine and look forward to getting to know you.
Love and blessings, Linda
I am so glad you have decided to join our community!! I think you are going to love it here. I have met some of the most kind and loving, courageous and strong, honest and Godly people in this community that I have ever known in life! I hope you will come around often and let us get to know you!
There are many ways to get to involved! You have your own blog available on this page. You can start or contribute to a FORUM DICUSSION. There are groups and we gather in CHAT on the MAIN PAGE. We have Bible and BOOK Studies, in fact one is going right now that should be ending in just a few weeks and I suspect another will start sometime in November. Watch the MAIN PAGE for more info about it. That is kind of the HUB. If you check in there about once a day you'll know what is going on. In the left hand column you'll find all the latest activity. IN the middle column is the chat box and new BLOG posts. In the right hand column there is all kinds of info that is updated regularly.
So, where do you work? Working full time with chronic illness is tough and so admire you for getting up each day and doing it. I also have FM, but I am not sure what Melorheostosis is, so I am gonna have to go google it to become more familiar.
A great way to get to know some of these people here is by going out on their profile pages and read about them. It may also give you some ways of sharing on your own page.
So, I a curious to who your sister is? =)
Looking forward to getting to know you!!!
Many Blessings,
Kimberly
