Just wanted to wish you a very blessed Birthday. I pray that God's presence will be felt and you are able to feel Him wraped all around you in deep LOVE as you celebrate this special day. I was just on Youtube and found this old clip from sesame street that made me smile and I hope that it brings a smile to you as well.
You are in my heart's prayers also as you struggle with chronic pain.
Hope to get to know you better.

I am happy and priviledged to consider your mother a friend; I hope to get a chance to become yours, too! As a mom to 5 children, I can completely understand the unique challenges of raising children while suffering from the effects of fibromyalgia. While my issues now are mostly caused by adhesive arachnoiditis (a rare spinal cord disease), I have suffered from chrondimalcia since aged 12. Back then they did an operation which required a full-leg cast for 5 months and many more months of therapy.
The pain and limitations on my 12 year old life was enough that I endured the operations, and had mixed success, with one knee fixed but not the other. I know that there are some better options now, but the few years that I suffered introduced me to a new understanding of pain.
I hope that your doctor can find some options for relief. If I can offer any advice it is this: Never give up!
Our Father is allowing this circumstance to enter your life for a reason; when you realize that, isn't it easier to bear suffering and pain? Jesus knows our pain and every suffering will be used by our Father for his own plans; and He has promised that His plans for us is to prosper!
For I know what I have planned for you,’ says the Lord. ‘I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you20 a future filled with hope. 29:12 When you call out to me and come to me in prayer, I will hear your prayers.29:13 When you seek me in prayer and worship, you will find me available to you. If you seek me with all your heart and soul, 29:14 I will make myself available to you,’25 says the Lord. Jeremiah 29:10-25
I hope to get a chance to chat with you soon!

Oh my 9 year old and yours would probably really get along! Corynn is beginning to cook and bake every week now. She fills our glass cake keeper with muffins and snack bars and probably is the most sympathetic as well, though she is my youngest. How sweet your daughter tries to get the others to let you sleep. Just love it and how she pronounces fibro. Children are definately a blessing--though tiring ones.
Take good care Jessica and have a great week in Christ.

I'm so pleased to meet you and I must tell you that I read your introduction with riviting interest. It is very much my story as well when younger. I was first diagnosed with chondramalacia of the knees, which came on acutely over one night--I awoke in the morning with it. And it was severe. As the months went by I developed fibromyalgia. I've had that for 17 years now. What I wanted to share was that I want to encourage you a bit. I know it is so hard with little ones, but God is faithful and some how my children grew up just learning to understand that they had to sit up by momma and that I couldn't lift them as much. We'd find other ways to snuggle and the pain through the years did wax and wane. I had several periods of time that felt much like a remission, so I am praying that for you! I have a few more issues now to content with, but I'm not alone as God journies with me and these members here are so encouraging. I hope that you enjoy it here as well. I am looking forward to getting to know you!
In Friendship and Peace,
Jan Lyn
Your mama is one of my favorite people in the whole wide world! I am sure she'll fill you in on all you need to know and can answer any questions you might have about LW, but if I can help you out in any way you just shoot me a note and I'll do what I can!! I look forward to getting to know you!!
With His EXTRAVAGANT Love!
