Blood test results and request for prayer
I just got a call from the lab about my bloodwork. My hormone levels are very low and my blood sugar is high. The Doctor wants to see me and I made an appointment for Tuesday. I know why I feel so lethargic now, and I hope that this can be treated so that I can feel better. I am so grateful for thy prayers on my behalf Friends.

Checking in and realizations
I have been doing fine and have new challenges, but also a renewal of faith and determination in the spirit of Christ who strengthens me. Pain is becoming something I am used too. At times friends ask me how I feel and I think, I am used to the level of pain that I have and only notice a difference when it increases or decreases. Now I have some new discomfort. - I am a fourty-four year old junior in a University B.A. Sociology program, later persuing a graduate degree in counselling psychology. I am president of the social sciences honors society Pi Gamma Mu and have a 3.9 GPA. I am a husband and have no children, but three cats who think they are my kids. I am in recovery from alcohoism and 4 and a half years sober. Living in the Light I have been given, I am walking a Christian spiritual path that includes Quaker meetings, daily prayer and meditation. My spiritual path is a walk with Christ as a traditional and simple friend (Quaker)

Hi John,
So here I am a day early. I'm anticipating a chaotic day here tomorrow as it is Tuesday and my Tuesdays are generally turned upside down by relatives who visit during our school day and such due to visiting Rice's Market--perhaps you know of it since it is out your way. Anyways, I didn't want to miss the occasion as you have become such a good fFriend to me and have supported me so. I've appreciated having your listening ear and companionship and thank God that our journies crossed since that first day on QF&F and now various places around the internet. Some day perhaps still in "real life". I wish you and Gretchen a wonderful day of celebration and also hope that your meds are taking effect by now. I'm hoping so as you seemed to get much enjoyment out of Thanksgiving and seem busy. Hope all is well and that you are finishing up your semester there.....another one down soon!
