Christ in every book of the bible

When I read this I thought how neat and that I would like to share it with you all.

In Genesis, He is the promised Seed
In Exodus, He is the smitten Rock
In Leviticus,He is the sacrificial Lamb
In Numnbers, He is the Brazen Serpent
In Deuteronomy, He is the Prophet like unto Moses
In Joshua, He is the Captain of the Lord's hosts
In Judges, He is the angel of the Lord appearing unto Manoah
In Ruth, He is the Kinsman Redeemer
In Samuel, He is the prophesied Son of David
In Kings and Chronicles

Five Finger Prayer

Five Finger Prayer

This is so neat. I had never heard this before. This is beautiful - and it is surely worth making the 5 finger prayer a part of our lives.

1. Your thumb is nearest you. So begin your prayers by praying for those closest to you. They are the easiest to remember. To pray for our loved ones is, as C. S. Lewis once said, a 'sweet duty.'

2. The next finger is the pointing finger. Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal. This includes teachers, doctors, and min

Daily Affirmation

I found this on another web site that I belong to, we couldnt find an author though.

I am a woman who is strong in the Lord.
even when my body may be tired or weak
my spirit remains strong.

I have strength to face trials
for the Lord is my Deliverer.

I have strength to walk through the dark places
for the Lord is my Light.

I have strength to face tears
for the Lord is my comforter.

I need never fear for the Lord is with me,
His Hand is over me
His Love covers me
His Peace is within me

Remember and Repeat

REMEMBER & REPEAT

Use the five fingers on your Right Hand to help you recall....

1. God is Who He says He is.

2. God can do what He says He can do.

3. I am who God says I am.

4. I can do all things through Christ.

5. God’s Word is alive and active in me.

Rise Each time You Fall

Rise Each Time You Fall

THE RACE

by Dee Groberg

“Quit! Give Up! You’re beaten”
They shout at me and plead
“There’s just too much against you now
This time you can’t succeed”

And as I start to hang my head
In front of failure’s face
My downward fall is broken
By the memory of a race

And hope refills my weakened will
As I recall that scene:
For just the memory of that short race
Rejuvenates my being

A children’s race - young boys, young men
How I remember well.
Excitement, sure! But also fea… Continue

Dear Debbie, I'm glad your mom got through the surgery and is recovering. I pray that there are no more complications and that she recovers quickly. I'm also praying for you dear friend. No doubt you are tired out and need a rest. I am praying for you to be renewed both physically, mentally and emotionally. I know when you are taking care of others it takes a toll on you too.

Debbie my sweet sister in Christ -
just thinking about you today and it made me smile. I thought you might need a hug and a kiss on the cheek to let you know that I care and love you big. Just wanting to know how you are doing with all these health problems with your mother. I pray that this time of emotional stress will be loosened in the name of Christ Jesus. I claim God’s protection over your body, mind and heart so that you will have the strength of Christ’s PEACE to calmed you so that you may rest in the middle of this storm. Watching family go through pain is difficult and I truly feel for you. I know God is with her every minute, protecting her and loving her back to health. But importantly i know that He is there with you and loving you as well. He has a plan and i trust that He knows how to bring out the good in this that Satan has meant it for evil.

Hang in there Debbie, you are loved and prayed over.
God will see you and your mother through this -
Joy

Just wanted you to know you are on my heart today and I will be whispering prayers to the Lord on your behalf as your Mum go es to surgery yet again. I know that you are all so very tired. Know that the Father of LIFE wants to give you His strength in your weakness - His peace becoming your yours - His PEACE, which passes all understanding, resting upon the whole family. I pray for skill and precision, compassion and wisdom for the surgeons.

Much LOVE to you my sister!

LEARNING TO ABIDE IN HIM

John 15:4-5 “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart [...]

DISTRACTED by Chronic Pain

1 Corinthians 1 Paul refers to Jesus Christ nine times in the first nine verses. We are correctly focused when we can say from the depths of our being, “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21, ESV), and that our determined purpose in life is “that I may [...]
