My favorite Bible verse isDo not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7This tells me that God wants us to tell Him everything on our hearts and minds and get to know Him. And that peace is a gift from Him -- not something we have to work up.

Hello Liz,
I wanted to stop by and wish you a happy birthday. It's a special day here as well as it is my daughter's birthday! :) So, I am coming in here late tonight as it has been a busy day here. I hope your day was special!
I'm a homeschool mom as well to 2 daughters--son has graduated and in his first year of college. I'm curious how many children do you have and how long have you been at it? This is our 9th year and that's hard to believe. It was our one year break from the public school--just simply an experiement, but kept right on going. These days are a lot different with juggling illness, but God is so good to allow us to continue for now where he leads. I'd love to hear more about your journey when/if you feel like it.

I have so enjoyed your photos - what an agile and healthy looking collie - I am sure that was not an easy photo session! but well worth it for the fantastic action pictures you got!
I have 2 lhasa apsos who are now the grand old age of 15 and just as special as ever to us. One has been quite sickly today which is worrying as we head off on a trip tomorrow until Sunday.
