John 15:4-5 “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart [...]
1 Corinthians 1 Paul refers to Jesus Christ nine times in the first nine verses. We are correctly focused when we can say from the depths of our being, “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21, ESV), and that our determined purpose in life is “that I may [...]

I am so honored to see you in this site and to share real life experiences together as a family. I hope we can connect as friends and sisters in Christ just like the rest of the members here. I am saddened by what you have gone through and I know that it could often create doubts in mind on where did you go wrong.
But rest your mind and soul, my dear child, as the Lord has brought you here in this place of respite and rest where you can be a part of a truly loving family. Welcome, my dear Deborah and remember that my prayers are with you .
With all my love,
Isabel

Welcome to this wonderful family, I know you will be blessed, cant wait to meet and get to know you.
Guess what we have something in common already. Our beatiful name Deborah.
I'd like to also welcome you to Living Whole and hope that you find this warm community to help you greatly through friendships and our sharing of our spiritual journies together. I'm grateful that you found us and you are here.
What an enormous amount of pain you have been through. I'm so sorry to learn that and of all the conditions that you are suffering. I know chronic pain that never stops is so relentless it makes you want to take a vacation from your body, if only for a few minutes at a time to get a break---just a little relief. It can be very frustrating. I too, have some neuropathy and various other conditions. We're all different with what we've got, but so often I think go through such similar emotions and struggles and can support one another because of it and even understand without having to explain a million times why we don't feel up to things and are unable to do certain things. It's so helpful to me to have that kind of support and I know you will find it here as well.
Please feel free to join in with us and also come to chat if you would like. All of us understand difficulties and you will fit in and be loved. I understand a bit about your aphasia, as I was a speech/language specialist before my life turned upside down. We all have a time here with word finding difficulties and brain fogginess at times, so don't let that deter you.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you.
In Friendship,
Jan Lyn
I know what you mean by 'suicidal pain.' I have adhesive arachnoiditis, a spinal cord damaging disease that affects me in much the same way as you. I won't bother you with the lists of all that is wrong with me (except to say it is now bodywide, like body-wide CRPS).
I am so sorry that you are in this type of pain. I know how it completely consumes your life. Friends leave, family gives up, and it often seems as though there will ever be anything other than the pain that you feel.
I would like to suggest to you that you read a workbook that I found online about chronic pain. I know that there are thousands of such sites and books online, but this doctor is not selling anything and is a 100% advocate for people in chronic pain. Some of his suggestions have helped me so far, like lists of easy to find 'potentiators', compounds such as caffeine and others that work together with your pain meds to make them more effective.
I will send it under separate mail to your ning email attached to this. I hope that you find some practical help there. As for your spiritual and emotional needs, you will find God in the midst of us, and that God, and good friends like those at LW are really all you need to have a satisfying, loving life.
I hope to talk to you soon!
